July 1, 2008  SBE welcomes Michael Wagner, PE as the newest member of our Electrical Engineering team. Michael is a graduate of Georgia Tech and was previously the Technical Lead for the Mission Critical Facilities group at a large multi-discipline firm. He has extensive experience with projects including data centers, protected power and distribution, and telecom facilities. Michael is registered in multiple states throughout the Eastern USA plus Texas, California, and Washington.

June 25, 2008  SBE welcomes Terre Hooks as the newest member of our Mechanical design team. Terre has a degree in Drafting and Design Technology from John M. Patterson Technical College and has  eighteen years experience in HVAC and plumbing design/drafting.He is a charter member of the Alabama chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.

May 25, 2008  SBE Principals Morley Spencer and Doug Bristol participated in the Georgia Association of Physical Plant Administrators (GAPPA) conference at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. This was the twelfth consecutive year SBE has attended the conference.

April 28, 2008 
SBE welcomes Julie Hurst EIT as the newest member of our Mechanical Engineering team. Julie holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and worked with an MEP engineering firm in Jacksonville before relocating to Atlanta to assume her responsibilities at SBE.

February 14, 2008  SBE is pleased to welcome Seford Penn as the newest addition to our AutoCAD team. He is a graduate of DeKalb Technical College (Mechanical Drafting).

January 7, 2008  We welcome Van Nguyen, a student of Georgia Tech, as student intern in our Electrical Engineering group.

December 18, 2007  We are pleased to welcome Richard Trochez as the newest addition to our AutoCADD team. Richard attended Middlesex County College (HVAC design) and received his AutoCAD certifications from Middlesex County Vocation and Technical School.

December 6, 2007  During the process of upgrading the server that supports our website and email yesterday a technical issue resulted in temporary problems with our email and caused our website to be offline for a short time. Our vendor is confident the problem has been satisfactorily resolved; we apologize for any inconvenience.

October 21, 2007
 We welcome Michele Sarrica as the newest member of our AutoCADD staff. She is a graduate of Columbus Technical College and studied at The Wyatt Institute (Seattle, WA).

October 14, 2007  We welcome Tarrance Harris to our Electrical Engineering design team. Tarrance is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

August 16, 2007  We welcome Frank L'Estrange, PE as SBE's senior plumbing engineer. Frank is a graduate of the University of Alabama and was previously with a large AE firm in Atlanta.  He brings more than twenty years' experience in plumbing engineering and design, fuel storage/ dispensing systems, and fuel pipeline transportation systems. Frank is registered in 20 states and is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

June 18, 2007 We welcome C.David LeCroy, PE. as the senior executive with responsibilities for managing Mechanical Engineering operations. David owned his own consulting engineering firm in Birmingham, AL for many years before moving to Atlanta to become Senior Mechanical Engineer for a large Architectural/Engineering firm. He is a former President of the Montgomery Chapters of ASHRAE and ASPE and was a member of the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board. David is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently registered in 28 states.

June 18, 2007 SBE welcomes Carolee (Deanie) Flores as our Office  Administrator.

May, 2007 SBE will be in attendance at the Georgia Association of Plant Administrator's Conference. This will be our 11th consecutive year at the GAPPA's meeting; you'll find us in Booth 29 in the Jekyll Island Conference Center. 

May, 2007 SBE is proud to announce that Michael Hughes has been promoted to CADD Supervisor.

March 19, 2007 SBE proudly welcomes Rodney Lester as Electrical Designer.

February, 2007 The College Center at the Clarkston Campus of Georgia Perimeter College will be featured in the 2007 edition of "Buildings of America".  SBE provided engineering design for this project led by architects Stevens & Wilkinson Stang & Newdow.

January 2, 2007 SBE is proud to welcome Bill Spencer to his position as Electrical Designer.

December, 2006  Spencer Bristol Engineering is very pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract for mechanical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the new $28 million Jackson County Jail in Jefferson, Georgia. Other similar projects by SBE include the recently completed Oconee County Jail and the Upson County Law Enforcement Center completed in 2005.

December 2, 2006  Morley Spencer, PE., and Doug Bristol, P.E. have announced the firm's move into expanded offices in the Lakeside Corporate Court Building.
